Now Raffles is such a great place to drink whilst relaxing before the flight and it does soften the blow of the bill !!! $120 for a couple of gin & tonics and Singapore Slings . JEFFREY ARCHER was also trying to make a buck at the airport selling his new book too ! 
Did the Singapore Flyer in the morning, a photo opportunity for Linda, for me a stomach that pressurises my heart. But not that bad actually! Good views around except down ! I got discount by posing as a singaporean but they wanted to know what was wrong with my eyes and accent!!
Went to the Marina Sands Casino, free for us foreigners (eyes and accent a bit smoother this time), $100 for the locals (government initiative to reduce gambling for locals).
Raffles has changed over the years, not the same atmosphere as before, weird mix of smoothly dressed French and Antipodeans with corks in their hats!!
Missed the Night Safari, too much of a trek, also overdone the Tiger thing just a bit I think.
Off to Sydney Australia tomorrow, really looking forward to that.
